The job
The business is looking to appoint a part time Materials Planner to join their busy Supply Chain & Operations Team.
You will be responsible for:
* Raising and placement of purchase orders and associated administration for all raw materials and traded goods
* Using and maintaining the Materials Requirements Planning system (MRP) to enable accurate and timely purchasing decisions
* Liaising with key suppliers, building an effective partnership
* Ensure \"best value\" is achieved on purchase decisions
* Monitor inbound deliveries, working closely with the Goods-in and Warehouse teams and ensure all freight and shipping documentation is complete
* Production and circulation of Management reports
Your experience
We are looking for someone with solid experience of MRP systems and processing of imported goods. You will have strong knowledge and experience of stock management and purchasing of food componentry.
You should be able to plan and organise your own workload and manage multiple conflicting priorities, working as part of a team sharing the same goals. You will have strong Excel and analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

The Materials Planner job is based in Oxfordshire and is paying £23,000 - £26,000 pro rata according to experience.
This is a part-time role working ideally 3 days or 20 hours per week, although there is flexibility on hours to suit your circumstances.
