Welsh Speaking Administrator Part Time

Our client on the outskirts of Cardiff is recruiting for a Welsh Speaking Administrator to join their friendly and outgoing team on a Part Time basis (22 hours per week).

In this exciting position, you'll form part of a small but very busy team to provide general administrative support, carrying out effective and efficient admin tasks, including electronic and paper filing, sorting and distributing mail and organising meetings.

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic candidate, who can communicate fluently in Welsh.

Due to location, the successful candidate will need to have access to their own transport.

The Role:

  • Work with the admin team to staff the reception during weekdays and some weekends as required.
  • Support the Team to keep in contact with customers and groups.
  • Assist with the preparation and collation of statistical data and reports.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of the office by carrying out a range of general administrative duties, including filing, photocopying and mail services as well as maintaining stock of office supplies and equipment.
  • Make meeting bookings and send out relevant information to relevant attendees, ensuring that the electronic booking system is operated efficiently and effectively at all times.
  • Be an effective point of contact for internal and external enquiries directing enquirers to the appropriate source of information.
  • Gather information for monthly key performance indicator reporting.

The Person:

  • Knowledge of office systems and processes.
  • Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent in Welsh, English and Mathematics.
  • Experience of working in an administrative role in a busy office environment.
  • Experience of dealing with public and staff and responding proactively to enquiries.
  • Excellent general administrative skills and the ability to follow procedures and guidelines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, in Welsh and English.
  • Excellent organisational skills including the ability to prioritise workloads.
  • A high degree of computer literacy with knowledge of Windows-based and database applications.
  • A confident user of internet, email and social media.
